Bandai Namco (株式会社バンダイナムコエンターテインメント, Kabushiki gaisha Bandai Namuko Entāteinmento) is a Japanese game developing company.
History[]
News of a merger between Bandai and Namco occurred after the latter's 50th anniversary in February of 2005. The merger was finalized in September 25th, 2005, thus forming Bandai Namco Holdings and creating the third-largest video game publisher in Japan by revenue alone. Although both companies worked independently from each other, this changed by March 31st, 2006, once their video game operations merged to form the Namco Bandai Games.
