Dandere (だんデレ) is a Japanese term referring to a character or a person who is quiet, antisocial and shy when interacting with their love interest. It's common for danderes to wear glasses.
Personality[]
A dandere is usually silent and doesn't talk until someone else initiates the conversation. While interacting with others, they seem to be shy and nervous. Danderes can come across as emotionless, but really they just hide the emotions and show them only to those they trust and feel safe with.
